Bright and Blue and Brrrrrrrr...

Goodness, I think this is the earliest I've blipped in ages!  

Had planned to brave the weather today and take the car out and have an hour in the snow covered Perthshire countryside with my camera, but a headlight has gone in David's car so he's taken mine to work as his won't be fixed until tomorrow.   Just had to settle for a shot of the back garden instead.    Not quite the same but there you go.

The heavy snow we'd been warned about hasn't materialised but I'm not complaining.  This is enough for me.  I have an industrious afternoon planned of tidying, ironing, cooking and hopefully a wee half hour of reading  my book.  

I'm reading The Light Between Oceans and I am loving every word of it.  It's one of those books that you are desperate to finish but make yourself read slowly because you don't want it to end.  On top of that, the language is so beautiful.  The descriptions of the physical landscape and human emotion is breathtaking in places.   

Actually, maybe I'll skip the tidying, ironing and cooking and just go straight to the book!  ;-)))
