The Seivwrights
At last the sun came out. I dropped tools from building the kitchen and headed out blinking into the warmth and the sunshine.
The sun wasn't the only thing dragging me out but an old school chum from days of yore was in town with his family.
I hadn't seen Scott in over ten years so it was great to get the chance to catch him at the museum and then we all walked round to The City Cafe for lunch.
Very well behaved children (The Seivwrights) sat and ate while mine stropped (Pip) and coloured in (both of them after the strop had abated).
Well, it was all very nice and even MrsClix managed to catch us up after doing her errands.
You can't beat catching up with old friends. Particularly when they and their family are obviously all doing well and looking very healthy from living in the good Scottish countryside.
Let's hope it's not another ten years before we get to meet up again.
Really made my weekend.
