Dancing shoes

I'm told that because keds have little pebbly bits on the sole, after a while they become perfectly slippy and great to dance in. So these are mine.  

I tripped over the laces three times tonight.  And kicked a few people but that's what happens when you're learning tandem and no one seems to mind so much....

In other news, it was blowing a hoolie (sp.?) this morning.  So much so that the workshop roof was rattling more ominously than it ever has before.  one colleague wondered how to protect the plaster panels he'd been working on if the roof came off, and I thought we'd have a lot more to worry about than just that!!  Thankfully the roof is still fixed.  For now.
