Cultural Exchange

Made and ate mochi; deliciously good fun. Practiced calligraphy. Played caruta, kendama, koma, sakanatsuri and fukuwarai and, most importantly of all, the children from both schools remembered each other from the previous visit and were delighted to meet up with their friends. With such a warm welcome the cold air was easy to ignore.
