Receding Tide - Kaiteriteri

The early sky this morning looked promising for some "sunrise photography:" So I headed off to the beach with camera and tripod for a very satisfying session.  The water was well up and the tide just on the turn. The light was lovely.
Tomorrow I head home to Blenheim so I have been packing up camping gear today.  We have had yet another very hot day with the temperature at the beach 28 C at 4.pm.   I will miss all my lovely camping friends that I meet up with every year.  Hopefully we will be back here this time next year.
