Homecoming

After what seems an interminable journey we are back home at last.

It's 9.30pm but actually 4.30am tomorrow according to my body clock.

What a wonderful thing the internet is.   I switched off our heating when we went away 4 weeks ago and I was able to switch on our HIVE web-based heating controller remotely from the other side of the world so we had a cosy house and hot water when we got in.

I had a craving for toast and marmite when I got in so that's what I had.  Off to bed now.  I will probably wake up about 3am.
