Upside down clover

Leaving it to the very last minute of the day to take a photo presents all sorts of problems. I really want to avoid taking photos inside my house until winter, so while it's warm I challenged myself to go outside in the dark and get an image half decent.

There's no flash on the ipad, so I had to use the glow of a street light a few houses away from me.

I took some clover flowers and hung them on the side of the ute, hoping the white background would provide light, and it did. A little play with a photo editing ap to bring the purple of the blooms out and the photo isn't too bad, even if I say so myself! I like the way the image isn't fully sharp and detailed, the blurriness adds a softness that reminds me of old fashioned wallpaper.

The ap is pretty basic, so there's no cutting and pasting, indidual selection or colour replacement options. I just used an option to add warmth to the photo and turned the image upside down/right side up.

I am so pleased I made the commitment to join Blipfoto and undertake to take a photo everyday for a year. I would never have taken any of the photos I've uploaded so far, and I'm learning so much!
