       Not so long ago I bought a winter mix of birdseed. I think the dried fruit the birdseed contains  or some additive on the seeds attracts the bees.  Bees usually fly only when the air temperature is favourable.  They were so funny to watch as they would try to fly off with pieces of corn and promptly fall because of the weight. This one appears to be carrying a fat humanoid body with a pair of thin legs.
