Vanishing point

I went to a book group meeting in Olonzac this afternoon. The light was amazing, but my photos really didn't do it justice. I had many attempts at these lines of vines; I like the shadows in this one. My spare blip is the distillery, which didn't quite turn out how I wanted.

The meeting was theoretically about Orcadian literature, but in practice we spent most of the time watching a really interesting video presented by Neil Oliver about the archaeological excavations at the Ness of Brodgar, which is a unique and fascinating site. Now I want to go back to Orkney to see it; it hadn't been excavated when we were last there in 2007.
