Cloudy with a touch of hail...
Weird weather, starting very mild and then becoming progressively colder as the wind moved to the north west - a mixture of cloud, brilliant sunshine and hail showers, including one very dramatic one. Alex was out working all day at Wansford Pasture - for once I didn't envy him!
We spotted this cloud formation on the way home, and I had to stop in a sneaky farm gate to capture it. If you look hard in large you can see a sizeable flock of lapwings in the dark cloud, just to the right of the sun. It's one of the first I've seen this winter over the fields, but perhaps I just haven't spent enough time driving around!
