The tragedy of modern man
The wall at DOX Centre for Contemporary Art in Prague 7. I love the quote from Vaclav Havel - The tragedy of modern man is not that he knows less and less about the meaning of his own life, but that it bothers him less and less.
I've been re-reading The 7-Day Weekend by Ricardo Semler and it's great to know that there's at least one company where how people feel about what they're doing is important. I love the emphasis they place on people finding their 'calling', and the fact that they give people the time and space to find out what their 'calling' is. There should be more of it.
