The old foundry

I know this is a terrible picture but I was just taking a quick shot of the outside of this old foundry on my way to somewhere else, when the owner came out, interested in what I was doing.
I explained and he asked if I'd like to see inside. It was very dark inside and there was so much stuff EVERYWHERE! It's the sort of place you could spend half a day finding interesting things to photograph.
The foundry has been run by the same family since 1870, although it was closed for about 50 years post-war. Its website says it still operates using traditional methods and machinery, including a belt pulley system.
The owner concentrates on fixing and servicing garden machine (handy to know!) but there are also now two "heritage blacksmiths" that use the foundry. They create pieces to be used in renovations of historic buildings, as well as gates, railings, chandeliers, candlesticks, fireplaces, and sculptures.
