A bit of weather over the Beara

Wild, wild weather - gales, hail, cold. I went off for a swim and a sauna. Not much chat today but I shared the sauna with a man who had a herd of elephants tattooed all around his upper arm, rather sweet Dumbo type elephants. An unusual choice, I thought.
Last night film Me, Myself and Mum  was a real oddity, but one which grew on you and seems to have been based on a one man theatrical show. It tells the story of a young man who has been brought up by his mother as a surrogate girl and through various experiences and encounters he discovers he's a heterosexual boy. The actor plays both the boy and the mother - very convincingly. It was a comedy and there were some hilarious moments, expecially when he gets sent to an English boarding school and a Bavarian Spa! Nice to have a feel good movie for a change.
