Garlic Flower

The wet weather has finally eased and it was a beautiful afternoon down the valley, although extremely soggy underfoot. We have had 100ml (4") of rain since Saturday. The grass is almost growing before your eyes :-))

I suppose I should have blipped one of the sunny pictures I took, but something about this garlic flower appealed to me.
And can someone tell me when I should pull up the garlic?
