Snow...
This is a picture of some of the snow that we have been getting here in Central Pennsylvania. Snow for me can mean a few things. First of all, it can mean a delay or closing at school. This translates into some extra time sleeping before I go and clean it all up. My dad and I have almost made cleaning up snow into a second job. A few years ago we bought a plow for the front of our ‘95 Silverado. Now we have multiple jobs around the valley where we usually go when it snows. These include residential homes and for our farm where the plow really comes in handy. When my dad plows, I am usually outside of the truck watching that he doesn’t hit anything or using the snow blower to get the hard to reach spots. If it is icy I will spread coal ashes to give people some traction. When we are done cleaning the snow, we go back home to warm up and watch movies. If the snow isn’t too high, I might also take my dog for a walk to enjoy the scenery. If it snows during hunting season however, my dad and I are in the mountain, tracking anything that we can find.
