No Babies Yet :(

I thought for sure we would see some babies today! The mamas were sure primping the nests so it must be getting close??? I took a few photos. The first 6 or so, including this one, I had my white balance set on sunny. It wasn't sunny today. So they are kind of different than the ones I took in auto WB. I just couldn't decide which photo to use so I called in backup. Glenn picked the one I used and this one, I kind of liked this one in B&W. What do you guys think? Ack. They are all pretty cool and I know the end is near when I won't have them to visit. Hopefully babies soon!
Had a nice relaxing Sunday. We went out to breakfast/lunch, brunch to most. But actually it was breakfast for lunch. Went to the Pancake Mill. Had the usual...veggie omelet with swiss cheese, hash browns and a zucchini muffin. Glass of tomato juice to wash it all down(as I had already consumed more than enough coffee earlier). Tomorrow I'm back on no breads, no refined sugar and no eating out! Eye on the Prize.....

After our delicious meal, we drove out to the egrets then just took our time coming home, taking the long way. Came across a group of turkey vultures. Seriously not the most attractive bird created however they serve a purpose and that is ridding us of road kill and other dead stuff. This time it happened to be a deer so there were quite a few hovering. Came around the bay to the McCullough Bridge which is Hwy101 and takes us over the bay. Got some "arch" photos starting here. There is just something that draws me to the underside of bridges!
As I was sitting here going through photos it started getting dark. I though maybe clouds were getting thick as it wasn't time for darkness then was reminded that it's the Annular Solar Eclipse! Totally forgot that was happening today. Since you can't look at it and since they say it can mess up your camera I chose not to drive somewhere to "see" it since I can't actually look at it. Where we live there are a band of trees to the west of us so the sun is behind them at this time.
So, there you have it. My Sunday. Hope it was nice for you too :)

Happy Sunday
smile
