Lat day in the Hunter
the Dingle burn it has quite a history the currant owners have been there since 1988, the first photo is the Hunter river, on the other side of the mountain runs the Dingleburn River and the second on is the inside of the hut sleep 6, 8 at a pinch with extra beds, stacked on the bunks, at the other end a large open fire with big black pots and a sink with running water from the rain tank out the back and a gas stove, and out the back and down the track is the long drop (the Loo), the last photo is the view from the door way of the hut what a great view.
The Lake was Damed in 1958 and by doing so cutting off access to the station the owner way back then had to cut a new track into the cliff above the lake, it is just a track it's maintained by the Meads.
I hope you enjoyed the Hunter its a wonderful valley.
