First day in Berlin

Time for the annual Berlin trip again.

We had an early start and a relatively smooth thrip here with the only slight hiccup being that the train line from Friedrichstrasse up to our hotel was shut so we had to get a tram. Unfortunately we got on the tram going the wrong way, but thankfully it only went a short distance then looped back round. We weren't delayed too much in the end.

We had a fairly quiet evening getting the students prepped for tomorrow's activities then grabbing some food. After that we headed down to Kunsthaus Bethanien to pick up our passes and get a quick look at this year's CTM exhibition.

We had time for a beer after that then Tanis and I headed down to Berghain to catch a wee bit of tonight's gig there. I was a bit tired to stay do late so we did a couple of hours then headed back to the hotel.

A pretty good start all in all though.
