Scottish Essaouira...
...or Dunbar
A day trip to the east coast today, specifically to visit the museums in Dunbar. Once the business was done I headed down to the harbour to embrace the sea air. I ventured onto the rocks and watched the waves crashing against the harbour wall. It was very windy and very cold.
The harbour wall, rocks, wind, gulls and fishing nets (and pottery shopping) reminded me a wee bit of Essaouira but less sunny and colourful with fewer terraces and no Lenny Kravitz.
Having heard all about Black Agnes at the museum I wondered towards the ruin of the castle and as I got closer I realised the grey stones were in fact gulls and guano.
Gadz.
