Ultra hugs & an Ultra

...the ultra hugs won this evening and although I have taken a few good shots while out running this morning and walking late this afternoon, it s the lioness that runs tonight too. The newborn beginnings yesterday changed my world! There was so much magic in my life anyway, now there is so much that I am not sure yet I can handle it. But I can adapt :-)

The morning started at 5am

...didnt go over to the Lakes for Marathoning, spend a fun day with the kids though on a 12 mile X 3 solo relay around the moors I ran by myself but with great support from my daughter who woke up with me at 5:30 to run 5 miles with me only to accelerate and leave me miles behind and my son on the bike talking about holidays and diving for the last leg. 1:51 for the first leg, 1:58 for the hilly one and 1:47 for the downhill on strong but tired legs. Last weeks extreme mileage is definitely paying off. I could not go away as my kids, teenagers now have become really fussy about baby sitting...

The day continued with some time in the water to bring my body back to a good state and allow healing and recovery. All day though I kept on thinking of my team in Windermere running the marathon, earthdreamer doing the Etape du Dales and the lioness that runs who could not join me this morning as she had to spend the morning with her mum helping her to bake cakes. Ooohhh yes I forgot to say that she loves baking too. Earthdreamer raced magically and he also cycled to the start and back, my team ran a wonderful marathon, some amazing results that made me so happy and proud.

I would like to share some more of the photos via little links but I am on the iphone and it takes ages, so tomorrow perhaps if you decide to call back on today's blip...for now I would love some more of those ultra hugs and a good long all night chat perhaps. Thing is though with so many mind chatterings in my mind this long chatting all night might last for a very long time...it was the right time I think for her soul to connect to my soul and join our journeys.
