Daddy Daughter Selfie

The light in the living room was great this afternoon so I thought I'd take the opportunity to take some portrait shots of Arabelle.  She is changing so much we can't believe it; normally those closest to a person can't see change, but at this age, she changes by the day.  She is so beautiful.

We had another good night last night.  Bed at 2200, feed at 0130, feed at 0530.  We can live on that!  Amy is feeling much better, I think the night time sleep is helping, but also we had a snooze again this afternoon which I'm sure helps massively.

I've been trying to use manual and compose all of my shots before just shooting.  After shooting the portrait shots I thought I'd trust my set up and take a Daddy Daughter selfie.  While it's not the most technically perfect blip I've ever taken, as soon as I saw it, I loved it.  The portrait will have to wait.

The feeling of love we have towards our daughter is an amazing thing; she is the most precious thing in the world and I hope that we can do her proud.
