Voluntary Work

The volunteer hedge layers were back today. The hedge was last layed  about twenty years ago, also by volunteers. It is estimated that there is another three days work left before this hedge is finished and they only normally come on Tuesdays. They wont be here next week, they've run out of these long stakes for the uprights, so next Tuesday will be spent coppicing in one of the local nature reserves.
