A cold, grey day turned into a wet, cold, grey day - so back to the macro test-bench.

Fuji makes some macro extension rings at $99 (each, not the set)  so I wasn't going to get any. A pair of 'third party manufacture' (read Chinese) at 20 euro for a pair seemed a better bet and they had had good reviews. They arrived today and allow me to use my Fuji lenses for macro and to retain auto-focus if I want to. Fuji has an Android app which allows control of the camera via Wi-Fi, including being able to focus with the touch-screen. Anyway, I didn't use it for this, so there is not much point in rambling on about it.
