Palm Scrolls

Back before paper, Tamilians would punch letters into dried palm leaves to create a kind of book.  This is one example.  I was told the Tamilian script has changed enough over the years that it is very difficult to read these texts.  This was in the Kamalam seed room at the nature reserve area in Auroville.
