AN IMPROVISATION WITH DAVID NASH IN MIND

We had perfect conditions today (especially having a spanking new bar and chain on my saw) so, I could delay this rather ambitious piece no longer.  It's a bit intense, I can tell you.

Someday soon, I'll be calling on my mates across the valley with their four-wheel-drive tractor but not until we get a few more stages into it.  

If it goes all wrong on me it's already standing right next to the woodpile for next year's charcoal, and in that case the haul home will be delayed indefinitely. More on this maybe tomorrow?
