Birthday flowers

Ok, so the photo is terrible, but I had an excellent day! My birthday included ice skating, Mexican food and tequila. I was pretty overwhelmed with having 20 people at my first birthday meal abroad and that I had a cake! I think partly it's people realising how lonely it could potentially be and making sure other ex pats have a good time. Also maybe that I haven't made a bad impression on the people I've met which is always a nice feeling. Bring on year 25, you'll have to do a fair bit to beat the 24th!
