Market Hall
A view of the rounded corner of the Market Hall, and also the Baptist Church and in the distance Rowleys House, formerly the town museum and now awaiting a new occupation. The Market Hall is an architectural oddity - built in the 1960's and apparently designed to resemble an ocean liner. It's a building that divides opinions, with plenty of detractors, but I like it, and not just from a photographic point of view - the indoor market has become the most vibrant and interesting part of the town centre and a social hub as well as a commercial one.
