Holly Berries

Today I looked at the ordnance survey map of our area and found a wood that I had not been to before, I remember being told about this particular spot in the Holly Bush pub in Alcester and decided to give it a visit.

The plan was to go into town and after doing the shopping in Waitrose, leave the car there and walk on to Coldcomfort Wood which I believe is part of the Ragley Estate.

The "Monarch's Way" footpath runs through the area and we kept to this even though it was extremely muddy. Spoilt by the wet conditions I shall certainly try it again in the Spring.
