Auckland Anniversary at The Mount

What a glorious day!!

After a lazy morning reading, having a swim, reading some more I took myself off for a walk around the Mount itself - a lovely 6+km walk from my apartment. Some really lovely spots around the mount - definitely need to explore them a bit more another time!

After returning to my room and having a swim and some lunch by the pool, I took myself back off to the beach at Papamoa. After a good few hours finishing off my book and soaking up some rays I headed back to the Mount for some kumara fries from Burger Fuel whilst watching the lovely sunset above..... I have a thing about sunsets :-)

An awesome day all round, oh and Happy 175th Birthday Auckland!!
