Oh so quiet!

The family left this afternoon, along with many of the summer holidaymakers. It always feels so strange at this time of the year as we have been in "party" mode for what seems like weeks and suddenly it has stopped.
The daily swim was so quiet, no kayaks or boats around, just "Sightsinging" and I and the birds.
No exciting action photos today, just a very quick blip of a lace cap hydrangea, "nicked" from the neighbours and sprinkled with some water to bring it to life.
