Fire and Ice

Even though the temperatures have been warmer the past few days than our normal winters, the ice on a nearby pond is still frozen.

This is a place I like to come year round.  Sometimes in the late winter I can see dozens of bald eagles.  In the early spring a migration of thousands of swan came through for a few days.  It was spectacular.

Today is just the sun, the ice and me.
