Sunset at St Joseph's

Another 'interesting day' ..D decided to take my youngest and I out for a drive. The sunset was starting out in the forest but we didn't really have time to wait it's full development. Returning to Christchurch there was a magnificent expanse of colourful sky as we crossed the bypass but it was not a spot for photography in rush hour.

D stopped at the church en route home and Heather noticed the sky between the old and new church buildings. Though not as expansive as the shot taken in the forest the colour was amazing. It was also pleasant to note that had I been working I could almost have been home before dark..it is so lovely to see the evenings drawing out.
