New beginnings

Big day. Meeting several candidates for new member of our team, then big planning meeting, then first night of our new book group. Although a couple of people couldn't come we launched it in pretty good style with excellent food, drink and company and a book (White Tiger) that we all enjoyed. We even talked about the book (not always the case in my experience!), and planned some genres and authors we'd like to try in future. Whilst talking and planning I was (as usual) unable to stop playing with the Tunnocks tea cake foil....that stuff is irresistible for fiddling with! Looking forward to our next meet ups.
Tomorrow we have the interviews....feels like we're on the brink of a new era.
