Too late

I bet as soon as I post this the Pine martens will appear. Two came yesterday and I was hoping to blip them today but it's now nearly 11 and no sightings, is nt that typical so I'm afraid you have a pair of wood pigeons instead.
We had a day of snow, sleet, rain and sun and when I looked out the window the raindrops were glistening in the sunlight on this tree that seems to withstand everything thrown at it and the two pigeons looked quite happy looking on from their high perch.
I think I heard the owls last night but I was half a sleep and not sure if I was just dreaming.
