Play time

It's been a good Monday - at least most of it!

Busy day at work making a start on handing my job across to the shared service centre, which is not so good! But it went fast.

Hubby has come down with man flu but was still happy for me to go out to play tonight so joined GMTFar at the camera club for our last of the three introductory sessions. Had lots of fun. They had set up a few table top shots to experiment with dof. Got some good shots of some gorgeous Russian dolls which were going to be my blip.

However they then set up this shot - a simple bicycle tyre with lights round it, being moved about by a willing volunteer. First time I have really done anything like this and it was great fun.

We have taken the plunge and joined the club. I won't be able to go every week but I think it is going to be good - lots of hands on experimenting and learning. Something to look forward to on a Monday for a change!
