Visitors

They don't look so calm when Boone runs out to "greet" them though. :)
For some reason, Boone is highly insulted when the local ducks stop by for a visit.
Even when the quacking visitors are in the lake and swim up to the shore, he runs down to intercept them.
And one of these days he is going to fall into the lake as he chases the grey heron from the yard! He is like a speeding bullet when he chases the poor bird.
Boone ignores all the birds at the park so it has to be a territory issue.
I can relate a little when I don't answer the ringing doorbell to unplanned visitors...sometimes I just need my space. :)
