Sunset BMX

Spent the morning gathering information for the new accountant.  I cannot think of anything I hate doing more than this.  We then had to visit his offices in Haywards Heath, a small town in East Sussex.  By the time we arrived, it was well past lunchtime and I was starving.  We managed to get through the meeting and we headed out with the thought of food in our head.  Arrived at the car only to realise that I had left the car keys in his office.  Getting back in was like gaining entry to Fort Knox.  There was no receptionist, nobody answering the phone and repeated ringing of the bell was to no avail. The notice on the door said very clearly that if he was in a meeting there would be no reply.  I became desperate and knocked the door as though I was a police officer forcing entry to a drug den.  He finally answered after 30 minutes.

Following lunch we returned to the car park at sunset.  I saw the BMX park and started to try to photograph the young men against the sky.  However, I was hindered.  One, I had the manual fixed 105 mm lens which is hard to focus quickly under pressure, two,. of course it was hand held, and 3 I had the voice of caution and doom in my ear.  Husband kept muttering that I would be arrested for photographing children, etc. etc.  I am therefore surprised that I managed to get anything reasonably decent but I was quite pleased with this..
