Mirrored arches

Hub and I had promised ourselves we would get out in the fresh air today, having had a very busy spell visiting and eating ;-)

We went to Carr Mill Dam which is only 4 miles from where we have lived for the last 12 years, and we'd never visited it until today!
It's a nature reserve, reservoir, dam, anglers club, power boat club...so there is plenty to see.

We walked around the whole of the reservoir, which is a couple of miles I think, but of course it took a good while, as I took loads of shots! These included ducks, gulls, herons, squirrels, scenery etc. but of all of them, this one appeals to my sense of symmetry!

I do have some other shots of the herons, closer, which I will include in my blip folio if you're interested.
NB - just tried to locate my folio...sorry hadn't realised it was missing Oops I have asked BC about it being resumed, so watch this space :-)
