Adobe Day

Today I went all the way across town to Edinburgh Park Novotel for some Adobe Acrobat 9 training. I think I am Adobe's list due to my previous employment but I wasn't going to turn down the chance of some free training.

Acrobat 9 is truly amazing, I haven't had much to do with Acrobat, other than creating PDFs, since version 4 and the new whistles and bells are leaps and bounds ahead of what it used to do. Fun day all in all and I got all these goodies to take away, though the DVD is a 30 day trial version (obviously) and the t-shirt is a medium (no use to me at all), the pen drive and notepad are handy.

This is the first time I have experienced early morning rush hour transport in many years and it was truly, truly hideous, how all those people cope with it I will never understand...
