Gardenstown

This is a lovely little village on the North Aberdeenshire coast. We visited on what seems to be the first day of summer (hope its not the only day!)

Despite the sunshine, the air is cold. There were reports of snow on the roads south only three days ago; and today's papers are predicting that the Cairngorm ski season will extend well into June. But down by the harbour, this corner of the sea wall forms a great little suntrap.
