I’ve seen too many horror movies. Read too many Stephen King novels. Watched too many “Walking Dead” marathons. 

I know bad things happen to characters that are alone. I know to avoid dolls at any cost. Especially those child-sized ones. Can you say “Chucky”?

So here she is sitting on the shelf, begging to be brought home. No way. 
Just look at those hands and feet. Bound. Wrapped. She’s been very, very bad.

Yet, one foot’s wriggled free.
Yikes.
