The first step

So I went and bought a few swanplants to feed the hordes! I kept them inside so that the resident Monarch butterfly does not get to them to lay more eggs and in a moment of weakness put the plants outside for some sun! Well, she must have sensed/smelled or something that there was a fresh swanplant and swooped down and did the egglaying as fast as she could!! The rest of the afternoon I checked the leaves and took eggs off, have more than enough on my hands with all the caterpillars as it is! So in the end she was happy- she could do her task and I was happy, I could take it off! A win-win situation.
