Portrait of a Smoker

As I have begun working on portraits I have begun to look at story.  What does each line tell?  The eyes, what lies behind them? I look at the gritty.  The mono focuses on more of the real to me.

For this portrait, I was looking to capture my mom through her eyes. I wanted the smoking thing, because well, she smokes.  I am hoping people will see beauty in the lines, the gritty and in the eyes.
