Sparkling

Having virtuously done all my work first thing, I was determined to get out and do some 'landscape' photography.

I went out to Hinchingbrooke Country Park and wandered round the lake.  I had fully intended to blip this  Little Stoppered shot, but then the swans arrived. One of them tried to menace me, probably because I didn't have any bread.  The other was rather more restrained and was posing beautifully in the low golden light.

Despite those shots, I kept being drawn back to this contrasting, monochrome shot. The colour file makes the swan look grubby - it's neck is just shadowed, honest!
