Rabbie Burns

As an Irish person fairly ignorant of the works of Robert Burns I bought this copy of The Merry Muse of Caledonia over 35 years ago at a Church of Scotland jumble sale in Edinburgh for 10p .  I hadn't realised it was a uncensored copy of his bawdier poems, quite an education!  I had to hide it at the back of the bookshelf so that my son, who was about 8 at the time and an avid reader wouldn't find it.
