MUD

Not the best of walks today, as we trudged through lots of mud!
7.5 miles, starting at Ripley, north of Harrogate, Hardgate, Thornton Moor Farm, Birthwaite Farm, and back.
As you can this stream ,which we had to wade  across, provided a place for us to clean our boots. Only to get them caked in mud again when we crossed the next field!
However it stayed fine, wan't too cold, although on the hills there was quite a strong wind blowing.
So all in all it was an enjoyable spent with our friends.
The banter is always good!
Nice tea and scone ( yet again!!) in the cafe at Ripley Castle to finish.
Now back home. Feeling rather tired.
Easy tea of homemade winter vegetable soup, and pizzas.
I think it will be an early night!
