Somewhere over the ..... North of England

Off to London, on a plane. The flight to London City has much to recommend it.  No hassle at either end and breakfast .  I like.

3 meetings; #1 with close colleagues and our Head of IT/IS, JB, talking about the new intranet project. It is going to be a total revolution in the way we work.

Then queuing for lunch in the cafe (think they need a system) before a meeting # 2, 3 hour planning meeting.  That was very positive. 

The last meeting was a 1-1 with FM, planning the CEOs peregrination through Scotland in March.  I feel a bit like Boswell to his Johnston.

Down to the hotel, a new one, and then off to St Katharine's Dock for dinner with a Dame.  We had a great time, and good food too.

It was a busy day, but a satisfactory one.  Off to York tomorrow.
