V&A Wedding Dresses, 1775-2014

Great visit to the V&A for the Wedding Dress exhibition, 1775-2014. We saw some fantastic dresses, found out that historically, gowns were never white until Queen Victoria set the trend running. Also, dresses were more likely to be worn again for other purposes. The range of styles, colours and designs was amazing. As my daughter is getting married soon I shall mention, quietly, what we've seen. I couldn't take any photographs in the exhibition but found this T-shirt in the exhibit next door. Next visit, photo portrait of the year at the National Portrait Museum. Lovely!
