don't look down!

The Canada geese are on the move looking for open water since our latest freeze.
We saw two or three different groups in formation this morning, and I took shots of all of them.
But this one caught my eye, because it is the only time I have seen a goose looking down while in flight!
I wonder what caught it's eye???
