Bird Watch

Another trip to the park today and I really wanted to try and get a bird blip as this weekend is th RSPB garden bird count. I captured at least 15 parakeets in a tree, a pair of swans with their adolescent children (they still had a few grey feathers between their white ones) and a couple of pretty ducks but I liked this one of the adult swan, with reflection, and the gulls in the background. Parts of the pond are still icy ~ the reflection is in the icy part and some of the gulls in the background are on the ice too. A lot more cloudier here too.

As for birds in my garden I have seen the following :- dunnocks, robins, pigeons, great tits, blue tits, carrion crows and parakeets. I really wished we would get finches and nuthatches visit our garden regularly but they only do so very occasionally.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
